Requirements:

· Must have 8+ years of development and support of enterprise grade applications

· Expert knowledge in API development

· Development of Highly scalable and available micro services

· Proficient in Micro Services Design patterns

· Developing re-usable components as much as possible

· Publishing the API Contracts and documentation

· Security at the core of the API development besides the business logic

· Enabling oAuth based security as well as consuming APIs that are protected with oAuth, 2-way TLS

· API development with logic to identify the source, user invoking APIs and apply logic specific to source, user types

· Following Microservices principles in developing APIs like 12Factor application design

· Version Control with branching, trunk understanding

· Develop highly available, scalable APIs running multiple AWS/Google cloud regions running Active-Active and Active-Passive

· Developing APIs with appropriate logging, monitoring, observability insights to be seen in various monitoring, logging, analytics tools

· Develop APIs with appropriate business logic driven from configurations, master tables

· Good knowledge in schema design, data modeling

· Good team player with good communication skills to articulate one’s thought process as well as understanding others.

Skills:

· Proficient in Java 11 and above

· Proficient in Various java/spring-based frameworks used for monitoring, logging, security

· Expert in Spring Boot - Data, Rest Template, filters, etc.

· Knowledge in Swagger documentation for APIs

· Good in YAML, JSON, XML data formats and configurations

· Good knowledge on Docker files

· SonarQube and other code quality tools with 95% and above quality coding

· Strong knowledge in various protocols – HTTP/HTTPS, 2-way TLS, FTP, SMTP, POP

· Good knowledge in Java based AWS SDKs for an application to use various services in Amazon cloud

· AppDynamics, Jaeger, gRPC is nice to have

· Good knowledge in MongoDB, Postgres

· Cucumber, RestAssure for API Testing automation
